You just knot the ends together and wind on to a bobbin.

I got this advice from eggyannie on this site over 2 years ago so to some people, danababes version was not very original. Who knows who the true instigator of this advice is? No one person can claim credit for most of the tips posted - even the tips posted to EmbLib will be second nature to some folk. Just depends who bothers to write in about them.
