thank everyone who makes, and shares these designs with us. I know a lot of work goes into them.

I agree 110% and we enjoy their designs so much. I have definitely gotten some of the greatest freebies that I could ever have....some in my embroidery club can't believe they are truly freebies.....

I use some of the as the first letter of a name I'm embroidering or just use he letter for an item. For instance I make baby bibs, burp pads. I add names to blankets & I embroidery on dish towels & other items.

You can use alphabets on all kinds of things. I have used them on bags, clothing, table linens, bathrobes. Embroidering a monogram at the top of sheets makes it easy to know what end to put where when making the bed. Only your imagination limits how you use alphabets.

There are other sites that offer other things. My site site one of them I don't get into alphabets to much but I have a bunch of free designs. I would love for you to check them out.

I think alphabets have saturated the market. There's no way anyone will ever use so many...just like there's no way any of us will use all the designs collected. Why have three or four sites that are just alphabets?? New quality designs would be refreshing.

Mary Anne, you never know when you might need 1 of them. Yes I must agree, a lot of work goes into digitising them. But there is no ways that I will use all the alphabets that I have.

I didn't say I don't have collected a few that I like. There's just seems to be way to many and like another cuties said, I don't like the cutesy ones. People who know us know our names. LOL
I would like to see something besides alphabets every time I visit.
Hug to you also and *4U

I see that we have two Mary Ann's here, just to keep everyone straight, I am not the one above, I am mnladyus, and some people seem to complain about a lot of different things designs ect, WELL, thats not me. I'm thankful for each and everyone here on this site, and love the free gifts and the talent that you all share. I made the original post just to see how everyone else uses the alpha's.

mnladyus, I wasn't complaining and I do appreciate all that's provides for everyone to enjoy. I'm just burned out on so many alphabets. :-)

I don't collect too many alphas cause I know I won't use them but I do have about a dozen. A few were too pretty to pass up, a few are for babies and some were for my own monogram but got the whole set and they have all been free ones. I don't go for the cutsie ones.

I use many of the alphabet letters for diaper bag tags for the kids in day care or nursery at church. Many come in handy but the letter L with the Lion is especially helpful as the last name is Lyon. Keep them coming I'll use them sometime.

That is so true. I use very few of them. On the Design Fest Hunt this month 3 of the designs put up designs instead of alphas. They are harder to hunt for but I have already used the Breakfast Ones the Wild Rose Doodle put up.

Collecting is fun ! Do we REALLY use all those designs we just "have" to have ? I jsut love to get something free. And I love to see the talent that is out there just for the click of a mouse if i want it . Cant tell you how many designs I have used that when I got them I thought ,"i will never use this " . Just my own thoughts .
