i did not pad the quilt but backed it with a heavy none pile polar fleece and joined them in the ditch method

i made two large pillow shams to match and all were edged with satin ribbon, yep its a special christmas gift.
that my daughter wants to give to her best friend, i had the time and the machine and she had the money so we are both happy. can't wait to get the next one started I want to do the thousand pyramids. so will mark my own templated onto thick perspex and cut it out with my hobby drill and diamond disc. it will be easy then to layer cake the fabric and cut with the roller blade. then serge the strips. oh fun. but i bet i will use a certain pin cushion to good effect. lol annie in the uk
