I told myself that I would be more ont he ball this year and now look at me...still have barely started! Even after all those reminders from embropidery library about how many days until Christmas, too! I still have plans to do this and do that, but hav discovered I am so busy that when it comes time to actually do these things I am too tired from work and won't possibly start anything when I'm feeling that way.
Some good news is that I did finally find a job again. I had been unemployed since April and the money I was getting fromt he govt was barely getting us by, so now I have a job that makes almost twice what I was getting all those months (although I'm sure the tax man will cut it down even more - but none the less, it's still more money). It feels good to have a purpose again. To get up and go to work and feel like a contributing part of society! Bets part is, my work is only 1.3 kilometers from my home. How great is that?!!!
Anyways, now that I'm back in the workforce again, I am finding I have less time and was wondering if I was not alone in barely having started my Christmas List of Giving...

So now I usually go for gift cards. We have a selfish santa for the whole family which is where you buy something that you want and it goes under the tree then people steel each others presents. the person whose gift gets stolen the most wins. Last year I put the Celtic FC logo on two towels and I one the most stolen gift prize. But I don't know what to do this year.
Congrats on the job! Exciting!
