Happy Anniversary!!! My DH travels a lot and we have missed more anniversaries than I can count. I bet you do miss him!! Just make a plan for a celebration when he gets home - a romantic candle light dinner is always so sweet ... just be sure to dim the lights - lol****

I am an Air Force wife and have spent many anniversaries and birthdays alone. Do something nice for you and when he comes home celebrate. There is no rule that says you can only celebrate on the actual day. So go out and buy a special card to greet him with when he comes home. I hope that it is the best celebration yet when he comes home. To both of you, have a wonderful anniversary.

Thank you. I have plans for a special meal and desert. He sent me a dozen roses and chocolate.
Aaaahhhh!
Cindy isn't it nice to know others have experienced the distance anniversaries. I also spent many away from my spouse because of TDY's...(at least that is what he said)...

Best of luck to you, and may you celebrate 33 more! My parents were married 76 years before my daddy died - you don't hear many celebrations like that. Welcome him home with a big celecbration.

Cindy, you are so lucky to have such a good relationship. 33 years must have taken some work. Well done.

Thank you. We have gone through several really severe trials and have worked them through, not easy but our faith in God, the power of prayer family and friends have gotten us this far. I firmly believe that we will continue to be together for many more years.

Cindy, dear - Happy 33rd Anniversary - that is so wonderful - I have read your other posts and see that he did send you flowers and candy - smart man - you have fun with your celebration - it matters not when you do so - just that you do. I am sure you are lonly without him - especially for that length of time - have fun. Many more!

He came home last night. I felt like a school girl waiting for her first date. It was worth the wait!
