Kmart.com has all their remaining Christmas items at 90% off online. There are still quite a few solid color table linens - damask tablecloths, satin-look table cloths, cloth napkins, etc. I just got 65 2-packs of cloth napkins in various colors, 56 cloth tablecloths, and 10 oven mitts for $63 total, with free shipping! Go to their clearance, then to the For The Home category, then the Christmas Trees & Decorations category under that. Some items are under Indoor Decorations sub-category and some are under Seasonal Decor sub-category. Woo-hoo, love those after-Christmas clearance sales! As mentioned above, these are nice solid-color items that will be great to embroider on!

Now, I'm bummed. Three quarters of what I wanted ended up not being available after all when I tried to check out. I wasn't even able to get enough to take advantage of the free shipping. =[

Thank you, I love to cut my own pillow cases. I buy an extra flat sheet, Cut it to size, embroider or do cutwork on them open end. One flat sheat makes several extra cases.

Exactly! I didn't see any sheets in the clearance - at least not at rock-bottom prices -- but that's why I bought SO many of the tablecloths - I'll keep a handful as tablecloths, but the rest of them - the fabric can be cut up & used for other items as well!
We have an older KMart near us, I guess their over head is lower. I just browse and find some excellent items. I especially like the linens,,,well I guess about anything in the white goods dept. Thanks for the alert that a sale is going on. We have been having snow, rain and cold. I am eager to get out first warm day that comes. I am in NC, the so called sunny south. It is so much better than when I lived in Ohio and Va/NC mountains. It is amazing how fast we get used to the warmer weather here. Thanks for the tip. Freida A
