Most of the ones I have used come from Embroidery Library and Windstar Embroidery. Anna Bove also has some goldwork that come up nicely. Sonia Showalter at Stitchery Mall also has some beautiful crosses and some other lovely designs.
Search 'pennifold' in projects, she a cross from Decker Designs that came up beautifully. Try searching or 'stole' 'church' 'priest' 'chasuble' in projects too for ideas.
Also at Embroidery Library look in stitchers showcase under religious for more ideas.
There are some free crosses and things on AnntheGran but you want to test stitch them pretty carefully although I have used one or two from there.
