When I log into the site, I see the number of flowers that I have and then in "(testing)". Does anyone know what this means?

The same question raised by Jrob months ago has surfaced again and you can see it further down this page. We know how we get them: one every 24 hrs for visiting and we can give eachother one for information we enjoy. But the purpose is still a mystery to all of us, but we are happily gathering flowers. So here's one for you from me.

Thanks for you answer, but I totally know that the reason for the flowers is still a mystry... What I think I am trying to ask is does everyone see (testing) next to their number of flowers? Or do you need a certain number of flowers before the "testing" goes away?

After reading your main question I went back through all of the question/answers pertaining to the question to find out about the (testing) part. I did not find anything. When on the home page I also have testing by my name. Howerver when on the alphabet and other pages it does not. So, this part of the question seems to still be a mystery!

Thanks... Well, this mystery has us all on edge. I guess we should all just relax and have some patience.

tmjanecek, I still have testing on mine, so I'm guessing we all have. I just enjoy giving and receiving flowers, and it's a way of showing our appreciation and friendship to our friends on this site. It's fun and I love it.

Yep, Mops is right, look a bit further down. It's a total mystery, but we're having fun giving each other flowers, anyway. Here's one for the both of you. Marji

As far as I can tell, the (testing) notation doesn't disappear (I have nearly 600 flowers myself), and won't until the site admin. decides to let us in on what the program is actually all about. As long as it is still there, I will just rest assured that there hasn't been any spilling of secrets that I have missed. =]

I think the site admin is "testing" the flower idea, like Cutiepie said. We're all wondering about flowers, but nobody really knows. I'm sure it'll be a happy surprise when we find out, though. Till then, flowers for everybody! Marji
