looking forward to a quiet day so he can regain strength. Maybe I can start baking pumpkin bread a little earlier than I had hoped.

Sometimes that is the best type of holiday - we all put so much into big celebrations that we forget what they are for. Just enjoy you time with him, and bake him somethinggood.

karen, those times are good times, too. We need to stop and realize what we are truly grateful for - one and the other. Have a great day. Let him get the rest to be better soon - I will be praying for you both. *4u

Hope he gets better & gets his strength back soon. Pumpkin bread sounds great, but what I really love is Paula Dean's ooey gooy pumpkin butter cake. Yummmm!

I am making two of those for Thanksgiving. All the kids and grandkids think they are the greatest and I agree. They are wonderful.
