Hi Yvonne, I can't see the photos - darn it! I just finished some projects, so my sewing room is a disaster. I should take a photo and post it - LOL. My cats keep knocking things off my desk. They want to take off with the bobbins. Love to see your photos if you can get them uploaded.

1. No need for putting on the light anymore
2. computer work station
3. on the right hand wall - when sitting at the sewing machines
4. this is only half of the selves - it has 6 on each side, with 2 large draws at the bottom
5. close-up of the wall space to the right of me.
6. this is the back wall - the selves with the tin collection is from my late Moms. So she is always with me. below is 1 of the thread cabinets and next to it is more packing place, with a cabinet below - this holds my stationery. And extra embroidery threads.
7. I have 3 of these plastic draws, on wheels under part of the work tops.
8. Place draws next to me to the right, with more packing space.
9. desk with 3 of my machines - which over looks our back yard.

Thanks Shirlene, yes I did not realise all the things I had to pack into the sewing room. Must still clear more things out of the 2 spare rooms, that also need to come into the sewing room.

Gosh Yvonne, it looks marvelous. It also makes your room look bigger, even on the photo's. I believe that, if everything has a place, and you can just pack it back after use, you get 10 times more work done, and it is nicer to work in a place such as this. Hope to see for myself soon.

You are quite lucky to have a dedicated room for sewing/crafts. I just love the view outside your window. I would feel like I was on vacation all the time if I had that to look at everyday. You have made a good use of your space as well - very organized. Congratulations!

WOW, That is wonderful to have a special place to sew. I use my Son's old bedroom since he doesn't live here now. It still has a bed because we have two Grandsons that spend the night with us quiet often. Oh how I would love to have a space made just for sewing!!!! *4U

What a lucky girl you are! My room was our second bedroom before the boys moved out and now it has a couch, TV, dressers, computer and embroidery machine. When I want to use my regular sewing machine I have to go out onto the enclosed porch, lol. My lighting sucks too, the overhead light isn't working and I will have to shut off electric to 4 rooms in order to work on it. Hubby is no help!

Like WOW-Ihave a spare room but the "stuff"overtook it so now I only have: Enough space for a chair @my embroidery Bernina Aurora, space for a chair with the table in my back @ my Bernina 740 Favorit. My overlocker sits at the Favorit's table, my cutting boad next to the Aurora with laptop jammed on the side.

Yvonne what a great sewing room. I like the organisation. It is frightening to see just how much stuff one has collected when it is all in the same place. My sewing room once spare bedroom needs a bit tidy up :(

Oh my goodness!!! it is excellent. I wish I could have a room like this, When I move in our new home we have two spare rooms I thought one will be for visitors and the other one is going to be my sewing room I have dream for so long. Well we have so many visitors there was not a chance for my sewing room, it would be wonderful to have everything within your reach, not spend so much time looking g for this and that. Enjoy it!!!
