Kathy I have tried several different places including on line and my favorite is still Joanns. I take my coupon and off I go and I always buy it by the bolt. it's usually only about $15 for the whole thing with the 40% off coupon. Sometimes it's on sale for 50% off. They have all types and my favorite is the medium tear away. They also have the plastic type water soluble as well as the woven water soluble. Hope this helps.......

Kathy, Marathron Thread is a very reasonable place.
Especially if you go together with several friends and order the large rolls. Hope this helps. Nancy

Kathy,
I have been machine embroidering for several years and have found quick delivery, reasonable prices, and great customer service from www.allstitch.com for most of my supplies. I especially like their stablilizers. Not affiliated in any way; just a satisfied customer.
