EDR is the Embird colour chart used for designs.
If you don't have Embird you can delete these files, but if there is a chance you will ever buy Embird I would hang on to these files as it will make the designs the colours the digitiser used when they created the design.
Embird is a Software program for Managing, Editing and Digitising embroidery designs, you can also create Photo-Stitch, text and cross stitch designs with it.
In my opinion it is the most user friendly and best supported program I have ever used and priced way below its true value.

Thank you for answering my question. I didn't think anyone new the answer. I posted this question quite awhile ago! Again thank you so much!!!!
4 hours is nothing, sometimes you need to wait for days for answers, but you'll always get one.
Just remember this little tip, if your post gets pushed off the page without receiving any answers..... answer the question yourself with the text: "ttt"
This means "To The Top", and, as it implies, it will take your post back to the first page where everyone (who has missed it) can see it.
Glad I could help, I'm not on much lately.

Thank you for asking this question. I too always wondered what the file was and didn't know if deleting it was a bad idea.
