This tree skirt was cut out 5 years ago and sat in my basement..I had every intention of embroidering it with lots of snowflakes..but "life" happens and I never got around to it..until...the Cuteembroidery site went down...I decided to focus my attention on unfinished projects starting with the oldest ones first..I managed to stay focused and completed 8 other projects..This one took a couple of days to complete..You can't see them but there are over 350 swarvoski Crystals hot fixed to each snowflake..The picture just really doesn't show all the sparkle..

Kathy, this is lovely - if you double click on the picture - you can see a closeup - the crystals show better in it - what a lovely work of art. You will enjoy this every year now and more than likely - wonder why you didn't finish it soon. GREAT WORK!

Beautiful! About 15 years ago I attached about 5,000 sequins to a ball gown. It was time comsuming but when they danced it sparkled like crystalized sugar! It was Beautiful too. I did like Shirleen said and looked close, the crystals finished it off very nicely.Great Job!!
