....... I just love Christmas time and can't wait to see the grand-children's faces when they come here. They light up like torches when they see all the items I have on display.
Love and blessings Chris
P.S. The Santa on the back of the sewing machine table was painted by me years ago when I used to do Folk Art. The little "Merry Christmas elves" were also done by me and Dana when she was a teenager (she's now 29!!!)

1. Dressed Christmas tree (it's about 6 feet tall and you just have to place all the sections in to slots).
2. Sewing machine table at front entrance. The teddy bear on the floor in the centre was made by one of my ladies who comes to the luncheon - it says Welcome Friends.
When I put the rest of the Christmas things up I'll post the pictures. Love and blessings Chris

Your tree and decorations are lovely! We haven't put ours up yet but will soon! It's hard for us in the northern hemisphere to comprehend too hot to decorate at Christmas!

They are lovely! It is beginning to look alot like Christmas around town here in the Atlanta area! I was not able to put mine up last year but hope I will get some help this year. The rain has just started and it is comming down like ice. This is really the first day that it has felt cold...brrrrrr. I think the weather man said it was supposed to be 39 degrees last night but I woke up in the middle of the nigh burning up and only left the heat on 66. No..it is not hot flashes. I have been through with that a long time and I never had very many when I did have them. My surgery at 32??? stopped me from going through the bad ones like my cousin that is my age. This rain hitting the windows sounds like ice hitting them. My son is out in this weather with his job and he usually gets the flu with the 1st freezing rain. He is a Heating and Air Conditioner Service Tech with Powers heating and air but is also certified to install commercial units also. Sfter his college(did not finish), his Vo-Tech classes and his training in Computers, he decided to choose an outside job.

Hi Chris, please can you send some warm weather to the UK. It is freezing and there is snow.
I will think about Christmas soon... There is still alot of the day job to go before I can stop to think about decorating the house for Christmas.

Chris, Your decorations look lovely. We have not put our up yet. I remember last year putting them up in the blistering heat and thinking that we really should move Christmas to July in Australia, because it is just too hot for this nonsense.

Hi Alice. We often have Christmas in July with friends here in SA. Such a good idea.

Very pretty - and I can't even think about doing our tree and decorations yet - but they say cold weather is coming to Florida. Maybe we will see a little cooler weather to put me in the mood. We are traveling to North Florida later this week to visit with DH sister - and it should be cooler up there.

Chris - I always find it so strange putting up decorations in the heat. I have lived in hot countries for more that 40 years (childhood - teens in UK) and I still cannot get used to it. I find cooking the turkey and all the trimmings in the heat not so funny, but my children and grandchildren insist on it!!!!

Very pretty! So are we bragging about the temp and getting so much done? It is 23F here and I have only brought out one little bag of things so I could showcase my candle, lol! My house is in such disarray that I really don't know what to do and hubby is no help at all, he makes the messes right behind me as I go. It there is a flat surface he finds junk to cover it with over and over!
