Love Maxine, this is for a very dear friend who just turned 90 years old. Her daughter in law threw a party rival to none at an up scale Italian res. with more than 200 guest. What an occasion!! We have been playing Bridge together for 30 years. No gifts were allowed at the party so I secretly got this one in. Some people don't get Maxine and other like my self love her!!!

Hate to say that they are licenced through Dakota collect ables. these designs can only be given away or used for self , which I am disappointed that I can't stitch then to sell. I do love them!!

She is in an assisted living high rise home and she plays bridge every day and has a boy friend to take her out to what ever is going on in Atlanta. I love her!!!

Love Maxine and this design! I bet it was a hit! This lady sounds like she might have been a shaker and a mover in "her" time! Isn't it just wonderful that she is still so active! I will be 64 the day after Christmas and every bone in my body hurts all of the time. I have to pretend to be alright and then convince myself as the day goes along. After 18 yrs with this arthritis, I should be a pro at fooling myself and others but my legs are now beginning to give way with me alot and I even fell last week. That scared me alot more than it hurt me athough I did have some bruises. This colder weather makes the body hurt alot worse than in summer. Somes days I feel so bad that I hybernate and have nothing to say or do with anyone. It is alot easier than trying to hide how I feel. Maxine sure does suit my personality alot of days!!!!!!!
This is a cute towel and the message sure suits how I feel today. Hoping for a better tomorrow. I think worry also makes any illness worse mentally and physically. I guess if tant was the case, I would have been gone a long time ago!

I think I have a Maxine that you would laugh at. These are licensed and I can not sell them on items, but I can stitch her and give it away and for my self, of course.

Great gift for a 90yo. Both Maxine and Stella are sassy senior chicks -can imagine them both sitting on a verandah cursing at the passersby :)
