I recently posted particularly for UK Cuties that Lord Sewing of Oswoldtwistle, Lancashire was having a 4 day sale and that post would be £2.50 what ever the size of the order.

I ordered mid Sunday afternoon by phone and got the owner Keith Lord, so I was also able to ask some questions as well as put my order. At half eight this morning as I was rushing out of the house to work I had a phone call from someone with my parcel from Lords. Considering the order was placed on a Sunday and the weather is snowy and icy I am astonished to receive my parcel in about 40 hours. I have already emailed them to thank them for such an amazing service.

My second piece of praise goes to my sewing machine dealer. It is 5 weeks and one day since my machine was left with him. He has a small shop but services loades of school machines. He was not sure what exactly was the cost of the repair. It could have been going to be £500 for a new computer bit. Due to a family bereavment and the man who services the machines being ill there has been a long wait. Oh how I have missed my machine. Mid morning there was a phone call saying they had worked out exactly what the problem was and repaired it as it was the cheaper option. Thank goodness, they have also serviced the machine at no extra charge and the whole bill including the piece has been very very reasonable. Again I am a very happy customer. My daughter will be going to collect my machine as she is coming to visit this weekend so I dont have to go on a long 2 hour each way journey. Maybe when it is back I will be here less and sewing more?

For anyone considering buying a new machine it is so important to have a good dealer you trust & who is able to service the machine.
