I have digitized some butterfly brosches (6 in a hoop). I put only Ultra solvy in the hoop, and the fabric inside each butterfly is cut after the first die line. So after the finishing satin lines, it is easy to remove the butterflies.

I did something similar but for shower curtains and window curtins. I used Aqua Magic to create the butterflies and appliqued the leaves for the background and created a 3-D affect.
