They turned out really nice. Did you put the fabric on the edges or did the ribbon come with it on it? Fringe on the edge is a nice touch.

Thank you. It was not Ribbon, it was party silk so it is a double layer. It has cording stitched into the winners one.

Very nice. I can see why the organizer loved them. You did a great job on them.

Where did you get the fringe? I have been looking for some to finish a special project, but haven't found any locally. It looks really full and regal in the photo - I like it very much.

I am not sure where you are, but this was from Lincraft a local sewing and craft supply chain in Australia, It is just standard fringe but it is folded about 3 times to give it the fullness. I folded it then stitched it before putting it on.

Was there any doubt that she would love them? They're gorgeous.

I am very critical of my own work, even this morning I was still in bed thinking, "I could have done this bit better". But others don't look as closely at our work as we do I guess.

Thanks Bev, I am hoping that I get some referrals from it, it is quite exiting to be part of something like this, even if it is a small part.

Karen that is exactly what I was thinking when I was making them, these are like trophies that someone will want to keep forever, so they best not fall apart.

I wasn't so sure about that when she asked me to do them, i was a bit anxious, I do embroidery, not dress making. But it turned out well in the end.
