It is about $2.99 a yard here. I then put nylon or organza and one layer of WSS and get beautiful results. The plastic helps give the ornament more body. Doesn't work well with patterns with lots of jump stitches unless they are fairly solid fill. It gives the non-FSL ornaments an opportunity to enjoy being like FSL.

Just wanted to share what was working for me. Hope it does for you.

Great tip - but any FSL wouldn't need it - if properly digitized - but if you to change LACE that isn't FSL into a great ornament that you can enjoy - this is a great way to do it - tulle also works, too.
