Veronika, I have a question for you, could you tell me what fabric you are using to do the test design on?. I see it in the pictures but can't quite make out if it is a jersy or that type of fab.

I do my test design first on the fabric that I want to do the design on. I buy a small extra amount of fabric for this purpose. What is really important is your fabric, needles, and stabilizer. As I was told go to page 29 for helpful info. Hope this helps. If not, ask somemore. Happy V-Day

Thank for your help and the reason that I was asking is that the test fabric and the designs look so good, like the design was apart of the fabric. I wanted to know if that is how the embroidery should look when finished. But I guess it is in the fabric used. I have done a test before and turned out perfect, then went to put it onto the quilt, same everything and it messed up right at the end on the outline.
