This is a project i have made for part of my sisters Christmas. I had made her a FSL nativity scean that is a freebie on www.filipkoza.cz. Then I saw Reanav's beautiful nativity Scean in Designs by Cuties #6151080 and just had to do something with it. So I purchased a placemat form Wal-Mart in red for this project. Frist I embroidered Reanav's design by Cuties #6151080 in the center of the placemat. I used matelic thread in gold & silver. Folded up about 3 inches to the inside of the placemat and stitched 4 seams, one down each side and two inside to divide the placemat into 1/3's. just stich through the hem the fold has made. This makes three pockets for storing the FSL nativity Scean in. Then used two short pices of ribbon to make the ties to hold the envelope together. Went really quick and so simple.
