Funny , you should mention candy canes. I just bought some last night at my local Kroger grocery in Ga. USA. The box says Spangler Candy Company,Bryan, OH.43506 USA and underneath in smaller letters. Made in Mexico. What a joke!!! Nothing is made here anymore!!!!

I checked my candy canes from Farleys and Sathers, the Bobs sweet stripes. The company is in Round Lake, MN the candy cane is made in Mexico. Had another Joybrite brand from Walgreens, also made in Mexico.

Also Brach's candies are now made in Mexico.
We had a peppermint or candy company in middle Georgia at one time. Seems like it was a name like Bob's. Anyone know if it is still in business? They made the little round, individually wrapped pieces of peppermint like you see as impulse items at check out registers.
