I did buy a big and nice bouquet of red roses and other flowers. But we decided to suprise my father and his wife. She has cancer very badly and he has had 3 or 4 blood clots the last month. We stayed for half and hour and then took a walk in the park before driving back again. It took all afternoon, but it was 30 nice minutes.
sand, what a lovely thing to do on Valentines - to spend it with someone, your Dad, who has loved you and you have loved him for all your life, and I'm sure it meant a lot to them too. A flower for you, hope you enjoyed your walk too and that the weather wasn't too cold.
Sand, you brought tears to my eyes. What a kind, loving way to celebrate Valentine's Day. You may have never celebrated before, but you sure got the spirit of Love right the very first time!

Ruthie, I finally got to the second page & here your Valentines Day is over with, because it's evening here in USA so it must be tomorrow already in Australia, oh, I think something in my brain snapped! It was bad enough years ago flying east "into" time, landing in London's morning when it was my night, but now 'talking' across time is even more confusing! Aaggghhh! Happy Valentine's Day anyway, and another flower for you, just tell your husband you'll have to do it all over again (at least the chocolate part) because the gals in your embroidery community are still celebrating!
