Only thing I can think of is you may have knocked your machine out of time. that happens when you sew something too heavy. If you turn the hand wheel and the needle hits at the bobbin area it more than likely is out of time and needs to go to the repair shop. if you can't move the hand wheel at all it could be a broken gear or damage to the needle bar. I never put backing on my canvas when I sew it. Just guessing here but I work in a machine repair shop and it sound like it could be one or the other. Try taking the bobbin case out and looking at it. I imagine it is an appolo bobbin case (black plastic) and it could have been chipped or maybe out of place. Look at it carefully to see if there is a chip in it. If so replace it. If not try to reinstall it as it may just be out of place. If that doesn't work you may need to have it looked at. I'm not an expert but just saying what we see happen to them when we work on them. Hope this helps in some way.

Hello, I have an Ellageo SG3, which is equivalent to one of the Ults. Most of what is on Ann's site pertains to my machine, also. Don't know if you have the latest Ellageo, or if most of this info still works. I've never seen or heard of that warning-had enough of others,LOL. You might just email Ann with your question.

did you try turning it off waiting a few minutes and then turing it back on? sometimes it resets the comouter. If it doesn't I am afraid you will have to bring it in to be checked. Suzanne
