The workers comp people refused to pay him for this time that he has been off. We have been relying on the kindness of the church and friends. The only thng the wc is paying for is mileage to and from drs. I had to fight to get them to pay for his meds.
Yes I did get a lawyer and he said everything will work out in the end. Whenever that is. I'm sorry this being the first time back with you all and I dump all thins out.
I have been busy sewing for the little ones pj's hats, mittens etc. I had to stop watching them to take care of hubby and myself got a little run down. Here are a few pictures they are growing so fast Well We are having fish sticks and grits for dinner so I guess I'll close for now I hope God blesses each and everyone of you with a great day

God is GOOD.... Praise the Lord that he is able to go back to work. If the lawyer says everything will work out, then I would trust the Lord to work it out for you. I know when I try to get w/c for a knee injury and w/c wouldn't pay for anything, it took almost a year with an attorney to get compensated... I'm just glad things are getting back to somewhat normal for you all... hugs, Terre

Ur right Terre God is good He has helped me through so much I have some dark times but as long as I stay busy I know we will get through my 5 grands help me do that.
11, 8, 5, 3, 2 they are really something especially the baby he is always happy even when he get fussed at. The only thing that ticks him off is if u take is silkie(blanket) a guy has to have his silkie LOL God Bless

Great news that your hubby is back at work....I don't know what we would do without our church families and friends....I sure hope you will be able to collect the wc, it's a shame you had to get a lawyer but I'm sure he will be able to get some results.....I hope you have a joyful Christmas.....Gods blessings to you all....Janet

Ronny, so glad that your dh was able to go back to work after the accident. Getting the lawyer was the right thing to do for you - I am sure he will get results - you are very fortunate to have church and friends to help you out, even though it might have felt a bit strange for you to accept - it is so much better that you had them to care for you - in your time of need. Can't wait to see the project's you have been doing for the little ones.

From what I have heard for years pertaining to workmens comp cases is that the insurance company representing the workmens comp claim waits until full actual medical damages can be determined to try to make a financial settlement. But, I always thought for an on the job injury, workmens comp had to pay the base weekly income, until that determination could be done. Be sure if/when they make an offer to settle, that if your husband has suffered injury that may require medical attention for the rest of his life, that you do not sign away
continued medical attention for a mediocre lump sum. Medical expenses could use that up quickly at todays costs.
Seems the workmens comp insurance was trying to force him to return to work inspite of injury to make his case less of a liability to them. Hope all works out well for you in the long run.
