hehehe. It depends on who is writing the chicken or the digitizer. LOL (couldn't resist)... I think I've seen somewhere there is a font called chicken scratch, but not sure of the density or how it stitches out....

The only type of Chicken Scratch that I know about is cross stitch patterns done on gingham. I did this years ago, but there could be something other than what I did back then. Judy

I believe I've seen some embroidery that looks like XXXX,a simple line or border of it;hope that helps.

I've done chicken scratch by hand, but I don't think I've ever seen it done by machine. Someone might come up with how to do it. Seems like we can do almost everything else with our wonderful machines.

Question is how big are the squares on the fabric and could you ajust the pattern to any size, and how do you hoop to get a good result.
