I'll never ever be ready, I'm sure -so all things normal, LOL. Good thing I don't do a great deal compared to most of you. Everything I do tends to be 'last minute Larry' style, however :) All the best to you and yours Chris, and everyone else on here as well. May we all be ready for a rest and to enjoy whatever the season brings to us -if we don't float away first -ohmygoodness so much rain in Melbourne overnight again! So much for 'Summer'!

I hear what you are saying Marian - I've been very interested in Melbourne's weather. Trev and I are heading to Melbourne on the 14th January and going to see a 20/20 match on the weekend. I'm dying to see the QV Markets too. Then off to Tasmania for a week! Yippee I hope it's a bit cooler than Newcastle. Love Chris

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Chris! I have a few more gifts to purchase, but then, I am the world's worst procrastinator; wait until the last few days before!! However, I am also, very nonchalant and do not deadlines bend me out of shape! God loves me anyway!! And, 'tis the thought that counts! LOL

GASP!!!!!!

Oh My Golly-Goodness!!!

Only Five More Sleeps????

When you put it like that it sounds awfully scary and it looks as though I'd better pull the plug and get some paper wrapping done.

No wonder the shops here are just full of green and red and gold and Christmas music is playing everywhere. I just love this jolly season and I love the way the houses are alight just like we are told the sky was on that very special night.

Blessings to you, too, Chris, and thank you for the thoughtfulness and caring you show to others. It seems to me that you have Christmas in your heart all year long.

much love,
AlmaG.

How wonderful Lee - I love Christmas Eve. I'm usually finishing off presents and making them "tissy" with lots of ribbons and tinsel etc. I'll be singing Holy Night at 11.30pm Midnight Mass and then back again for Christmas morning service. Love and blessings Chris

Thanks Sally - we got the bedrooms all sorted out over the weekend as we were expecting Trev's Mum - and she rang us up late Saturday evening to say she now won't be coming for Christmas. Never mind, the house is all ready and we are having everyone here for lunch Christmas Day. Should be fun, noisy and sad all rolled up in one. This will be my first Christmas without my darling Dad. Love and blessings Chris

P.S. Don't worry - you'll be ready by Saturday!!

Thank you Chris, may this be a wonderful and blessed Christmas as we celebrate Christ Birth 2000 yrs ago. My pastor today commented on something that made me stop to think... WE are the reason for the season. Christ was sent for US... I know this will be a difficult time without your father, but focusing on Christ will help you get through this also. :) Hugs, Terre

That's so true Terre. I know Dad will be there with us in spirit. He always loved a good feed and a few beers! Ben dropped in on Saturday morning after golf and he had Dad's Reynella Golf Club jumper on - it made my day. I hope you all have a wonderful day too.

Love Chris

Almost!!! been busy making a Barbie doll bride's dress for my 6yr old grand-daughter today. Looks okay too, but wouldn't win any prizes for sewing. Long time since I did work this small and my eyes are not what they were. Merry Christmas Chris.
