Kathy is the apron for kitchen purposes or painting purpose? Will make a difference. ;) If it's kitchen, there are some really cute ideas below. If it is for painting you could say: ARTIST at Work, maybe something like "Painting in Progress, Wet Apron"...Or if he doesn't like to paint you could put "Artistically Challenged" Or "Practice makes Perfect" for either apron.

I don't know if you have seen either of these TV shows but how about Future Iron Chef or Future Top Chef

My four year old grandson is into dinosaurs. Just made him an apron with an applique dinosauur and the word DINO MITE curved underneath. He loves to wear it when making any mess is involved!
