I made this beach bag for my sister who leaves for Florida Tuesday, wish I was going. Of course I got the C from here. This is my first bag and I made it without a pattern. It's made out of bar towels and lined with flannel.

izzy, this beach bag with the parrot and initial on it is just so cute - it this your sister or you? Don't we all wish that we could fly off to Florida for a nice vacation, to get out of all this snow would be fun. Great job. Here is a flower for you. Shirlene

It's my sister Carol, see the smile she knows she gets to get out of the cold :o) That you for the lovely flower and here's one back!
Thank you izzy - I am sorry that I can not give you one, back. Your sister Carol is indeed smiling - knowing that she will be sunning and we will be cold. Brrrrr!

Good use of design, and clever idea to use bar owels. We Floridians have many many beach bags, and the washable kind are the best - just throw them in with the beach towels. Your sister is in for some warm weather - and possible rains. Good stitches to you.

Beautiful bag! I wish I would be able to make one, too, but I'm only a beginner in the sewing world...Perhaps one day...
