So sorry for the loss of your husbands's grandmother. It is hard to lose a loved one on a Holiday. We had much the same thing with my husband's grandmother when she passed away on a Thanksgiving day. And she too lived to be 100. Our thought and prayers will be with you and your family.

Sorry for you loss, but she had a full life to be that age. She is with the Lord now. You can celebrate her life at Christmas time with good memories.

Sissi, thinking of you at this time. It is a year to the day that my mother died. As a family today we were talking as the grandmother of my sil colleague has also died today at 103 and we decided that society forgets that people do die on Christmas day. Your husbands grandmother will be in your thoughts

My love to you and the family, at this sad time. I know your husband's grandmother will be missed, and the day will hold a certain sorrow as you miss her, but what a special day it is to be her last day here on earth. I pray that she is with God now, and has no worries, pain or concerns.
Love to you and your family.

Sissi, I want to extend my sincere condolences to your family. It is always difficult to lose a loved one. The Lord wanted her with him, so he took her on a very special day. She will always be in your heart and you will hold good memories of her. Hugs, Mary

Sissi, so sorry to hear of the loss of you husband's grandmother. The loss of a loved one is never a good thing or time but always seems so much worse to lose them during the holidays. My dh and myself have lost a parent at Thanksgiving, so without them that day, we keep them here with our sweet memories. I pray that time will heal your pain and that of other family members. Hugs, Karen

Sissi my condolences to your husband and family. It is not easy to lose someone close to you much less on a holiday. I understand totally, we lost a very special
aunt on Christmas eve of 1990. Every Christmas eve at Midnight Mass we were these bells with Red and green ribbons that we wore at her funeral. This is a reminder that she is with us in spirit.
Blessings.

I'm so sorry that you had this happen during such an otherwise joyous time. It had to be a comfort though, to have your children with you both when Grandmother passed away. It's hard to loose someone you love no matter what day it is or what their age is. My prayers for you all.

I wish to send my prayers to your husband and you on your loss. I hate she died on Christmas Day, but you need to turn it around and think of all the times when you gather for Christmas in the future, you can take out some time to remember all the great times you had with her and rejoice in the fact that she was here for 100 years....Bless you all....

You enjoy the family that are with you and morn the one ones not there. You can do both at the same time. The best way to get through this is to do what comes naturally to you. You are sure to have very mixed feelings when part of the beloved family is not there. It was a very special time for the Lord to call her home and with all said and done, it was the Lord's will. Give the hubby an extra hug now and then when you see he needs it and remind him that she is with the Lord so she is not alone.
