I have been checking since very early this morning. I do hope it was okay for me to post it. I do think it will give her an extra boost today as she has a cold bug that just jumped on her since our blast of unusual weather for the past few days.

Kay I want to wish you a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY from just down the hwy. I hope you have a great day in spite of not feeling very well. Thank you Cuties for all the wonderful birthday wishes.and thank you Linda for posting my birthday. I'm afraid my celebration will be delayed until my sweetie and I feel better. This has been an unusual day to say the least!!! My sweetie was so sick that he did not feel like going to the drug store. He lives about a mile from me. I have been treating a sinus infection that won't go away and he caught a vicious, nasty cold. I decided to get dressed and go the drug store and get him some Mucinex-D which I consider the miracle drug behind the counter!!! You have to sign for it now. well, he decided to go to get a sandwich at Wendy's at the same time. He pick up truck did not start, so he drove a car which had not been out of his garage for months. Should I say more!!! he came out of Wendy's and the car would not start. He had forgotten to take his cell phone and pay phones are history!!! He borrowed some one's cell phone and called me at home and of course I was not there. He could not remember my cell phone #, so he called a buddy and had him come pick him up. When I got home there was this frantic message "where are you" on my phone and in the middle of the floor was my birthday present from KiKi, my cat of a freshly killed baby mouse. Do you remember the short story "The Gift of the Magi" by O.Henry ? This was my day !!
