after Christmas my daughter decided to "clean out" and clean up her son's toy collection..she was getting rid of his toy storage unit and I immediately saved it from its demise..This little storage unit will be great right next to my table and provide easy access to my constantly used items as I embroider..just thought I would share my great find...will post a pic in a minute.

I actually bought myself one of these units for my yarns, so I can see them at a glance what I have, course it overflows into bigger containers, but I use this for color coordinating most of them

I use the old plastic hot wheel storage garages for holding threads and it make it easy to go to a class or conference or retreat with all the main threads that you need....they fit perfectly...don't know if they still make them or not....

Great "green" idea! I could use a whole bunch of these and still wouldn't be organized! LOL ~ New Year's resolution #1: find the sewing room ;-) hee hee hee, or at least a few table tops. *s 4 all
