I once hear about the little child that "dried" the wet cat off in the microwave oven!!!!! same results. At least they tried to help. Hugs

When my daughter was two she put a bar of soap in with our tropical fish.....same results. She just wanted them to take a bath. Kids will do strange things but then so do we sometimes. Have a blessed day!

Tropical fish can be quite tricky at the best of times. All it takes is forgetting to turn the water heater on, as happened once when my ex and I moved house :(

And don't parents often end up with the pets that their children 'just had to have'! More often it's a dog or cat, so you're probably getting it easier with a turtle having less requirements and costs to look after :)

Oh dear! What a disaster for him and his pets. Maybe it's not too soon to get him researching how to do such things on the internet or perhaps in one of those old-fashioned things -books!

Oh my! A hard lesson well learned, one he will never forget, and probally laugh at when he's older. Hopefully he will ask questions before doing something like this again.
You must be in the Northern part of Texas. I am vacationing in Donna in the Rio Grande Valley and its quiet warm here.
