I think that it why it was such an anti-climax, because we didn't get up to our new home to ring in the mew year there. I am very disappointed, but we'll drive up later today & spend a couple of hours there. I think I really missed my weekly visit there this week and this move is taking way too long.
No, we are nowhere near the floods, they are further away than the distance between Florida and Canada, about 14 hours drive. My brother's house is there, but he rents it out as he lives down here in NSW. His tenants were evacuated 4 days ago and he hasn't heard anything since.
