When I offered to organise this I knew it would not be straightforward - and I was right!
The main problem I anticipated was intercontinental postage (both costs and reliabilty). This was why I made the decision to assign Santas and Santees on the same continent. I think this was the right thing to do.
The problem I did not anticipate was the Personal Message system which can be very confusing. Several people sent a PM to me with their details, saying they wanted to take part, but then didn't pick up the return message with the details of their Santee (or the follow messages I have sent!) This seems to be the main reason that some people have not received a gift yet. If I am ever mad enough to offer to do this again, it will have to be done by email! This would be easier for me (I wouldn't have to trawl through pages of PMs to check information) and probably easier for everyone else.
I will keep trying to track down the missing gifts, but it is frustrating to say the least.
Happy New Year to you all.
Hugs Lee
Please dont even try tracking missing gifts, I do not think it is your responsibility.
You organized everything beautifully, and even though my SS have not posted that she had received my gift yet, I realy hope it will still get to her. I have not received one neither, and will still look in the post, but if I do not receive anything I will still partake end of this year, and it realy is not your fault that either it got lost or was not posted.
Thank you so much for doing the organizing and also for starting it, I think it was a marvelous idea.
Happy New Year, hugs and Gods blessings to you.

I am travelling back to England tomorrow !

Do you want to know something?
Even when I ask people to contact me via email, and provide my emad, they STILL 'private message me on Cute' instead.
I don't know or understand why this is so, because when I ask for them to email me it is so I can just hit reply and attach whatever it is they have asked for, without having to hunt through all the PM's, looking for theirs, to find their emad.
I don't think it is too much, or too difficult a request to comply with but it happens again and again so that now, if they don't email me as I have requested, they don't get what they have asked for.
We are all busy these days, and we all have our personal responsibilities to keep up, but some of us have a little bit more on our plates than others and sometimes these responsibilities can treble at certain times of the year. I think we should all be mindful, that not everyone has hours of spare time to sit at their pc's even when they have offered to do something.
Happy New Year, Meganne
Thank you again. Happy new year.

I simply wanted to remind every Cuties who received their gift to post a small message, at least to let us know. There is a special post created for this.
Thank you very much again, Sue, and I wish you and every Cutie in the world a very happy new year !

YOU DID AN AWESOME JOB! CONGRATULATIONS!
I sent mine early and got mine early. I do hope those who are still waiting are only delayed by a backlog of post.
Happy New Year to you and thanks for undertaking this mammoth task. I loved it even though I was late in getting my things organised, but as I said I sent them out as soon as I had made them.
Thanks to you, hugs and happy new year
Claude
I think you did a fabulous job! Organizer of the year should go to you for all the hard work you've put into this!! To bad there's not a way to send all your PM's to your e-mail address where you could create folders to sort them in.
