this is a picture of a quilt top that I makde for a friend who has been diagnosed with 2 different cancers. The middle panel is for Breast Cancer & all of the different coloured hearts represent the many other cancers out there. She loves it &says italways makes her feel like she is being hugged by all the love that went into it! I did the label with a fancy embroidery on the back with the date too.

That is beautiful! If she is still having chemo it is especially nice because they keep that area a bit chilly.

Oh yes, very chilly, they had warm blankets for the people getting chemo when I was going thru....********

I had breast cancer too, will like to do something like this, but I am not so talented...it is gorgeous,is the big middle one a panel for cancer or did you do that too???*************************

I had a lump removed when I was 7months pregnant I remember it as if it was yesterday & it was 33 yrs ago & I'm still here I thank God Everyday!Yes the middle is a panel.It has Toronto Maple Leafs flannelette backing on it her favorite.
