Happy New Year to everybody! We're back from our Christmas-holiday in which we finally found some time for our embroidery hobby again. But while I'm not showing our latest project (mini butterflies and napkin rings) today, I want to show you some examples of our Christmas tree this year. It was all done with our own embroidery designs and some ginger-bread cookies, and we felt very satisfied with ourselves in the end ;-)

There are more detailed pictures in the galleries of our hompage, just come and browse (design.tavernmaker.de -> Embroidery projects (MORE!))

I hope you all will have a good year with many, many nice embroidery projects!

Your tree looks very pretty with the FSL ornaments on it.

I love the first picture of the FSL Icicle.
There are not many Icicle designs available to embroiderr and yours is just lovely.

Happy New Year to you both!!

Just some comments on the various requests:
- the icicle is a "first-version" at this state and needs a bit of improving. It is planned to make it a freebee after that, but as with so many things, our time is running short.
- The snowflakes (some of them at least) are planned to be made freebies a bit later this year.
- The angel & snowman are currently not planned to be made generally available.

I just wanted to let know that the Hus format designs in your free design zips are not centered.

When I bring the hus format designs into my software they are not centered for the hoop sizes they are meant for.
Some are half way out of the hoop size shown in software.

All the other formats that you offer in the free zips are centered.

So anyone using the hus format would have to center the design and resave it before using it.

Just thought you would like to know about this as you may want to look into this and make adjustments to the hus format designs before placing them in the free zip files.
Have a Great Day

Hm, thanks for mentioning. All we are doing is "converting" the formats using our software (Bernina Designer V4) without being able to set any parameters for it. Strange it acts like this... Our "own" machine format is the ART.

I wonder if you use a free program such as Pulse True sizer or the free program by Wilcom if you could center the hus designs that way and resave it if that would work for you.
I was surprised with this too!

To be perfectly honest, we spent already a too big amount of our time "preparing" things as downloads (instead of digitizing and stitching) so that I'm not willing to look into this with yet another program. If the HUS format turns out to be not-working, I rather take it out of the punch. In the end it is up to the "user" to convert into "his" format himself. Thanks for the program links, though. I'm sure others will appreciated it as well.

For the Pulse Ambassador free program go to the link and then select your country region. click on it.
Then on the next page - Look under - Embroidery Software Levels - which is on the left side of the page.
Then click on Ambassador in the list that pops up to the right of Embroidery Software Levels.

The designs in Hus format work if the user centers and then resaves the designs before stitching them.
So please leave the hus format in the zips that you offer as many will appreciate having the design already converted to the hus format.

Your embroidered Angels is beautiful. Hopefully, we'll see it up at your site soon. :) My goal this year is to start stitching out gifts next month so I have a large stash of completed gifts by the end of the year. Your fsl designs are on that list. Thank you so much.
