my mother started a quilt by the block during the time we spent caring for granny after a brain hemmorage a long 6 mo 9 years ago she died on DEC31 this year I learn a new way of putting block and quilting and knew it would work for the quilt blocks mom had hand quilted made pippng and set it together on DEC31 with my mother who is now 78 it a grief and rememberence quilt but some new memories of better times as it was the closure of the quilt and a time for mother and daughter to do something together that had so much emotions
