looking at 4 part design recently posted.have seen other 4 (or more) part designs beautifully put together in a quilt with narrow fabric between sections & the effect is looking through a window.

yes and it sews out quite beautifully. Go to the projects and see where our resident genius (ruthie)has sewn one and show her some love for her efforts.;)

It is beautiful. The window pane designs are so impressive. She hasn't said yet how she is going to finish it, has she?
