Just before Christmas I got this order for about 30 of these hoodies for this client and just finished the last one last night.......whew!! Some of them were the lined type with the fleece lining....ohhhh, were those fun....anyway, several cuties asked to see them and this is the reason I haven't had a chance to play with you guys too much lately..........Vicki

Thank you....Bernina built in a slower speed when the jumbo hoop is hooked up, so the machine runs alot slower than with normal embroidery. The unlined hoodies took about 1 1/2......those dastardly lined ones took about 2 hours, but took me almost as long to get them pinned into the hoop straight going through the lining....the outer layer keep wanting to shift away from the lining...grrrrr!!
Doesn't matter what you charged...it wasn't enough!!! People just don't know what all goes into doing these things!

Those really look nice. What kind of machine do you have? Is it for commercial embroidery to do that large of size embroidery?

Thank you...I have a Bernina Series 8-830 and have the jumbo hoop, so I can do jacket backs without having to rehoop, all this was done in one hooping...what a relief, I can't imagine having to try to line this up with all the bulk of the material!!

Wow. These look fantastic. I know what you mean about lining up for multiple hoopings. I have only done small project and even with templates it takes a lot of patience and then it can be off by jussst a smudge. The small hoop of my Janome is a definite disadvantage.

OMG, even with the hat hoop, I just hate them because of the limited space to embroider on and lining up the hat straight and stitching slow, etc......

I would not have wanted to tackle this just before Christmas. You have done a smashing job. You should have gotten enough pay to buy everyone's christmas, this yr and next.

It was quite hectic, but I did manage to get a couple of presents embroidered in between too!!! It gave me a break from doing the same thing over & over & over..
