You would think I'ld learn. GET A DEPOSIT!!!!!!!! This is like the third time I have done work for someone who has forgotten about me after the fact. Oh well I guess it is a lesson learned again!

I'm sorry you were done that way mema. One of the prime reasons I do not like doing things for people I do not know well. I tell them up front how much it will be, the date they will be done & I usually deliver them myself. I get their phone nr. Call & tell them I'm delivering & expect to be paid upon delivery. Hope you have better luck. Lillian

Sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience, I guess you are right, we should always try and get a deposit or demand payment on completion of product and before giving them the completed things. Hugs, Mary

I am sorry this happened to you. Some people don't have ethics. Just don't hand it over until payment is in your hands cash preferrably

So sorry this happened - years ago - I decided that I wouldn't even start a design or project for another - unless it was paid for first. I do hope it is a lesson learned, this time for you dear.

What a bummer this happened.....I've only done orders for people I know, but I will learn from your experience and make sure I take a deposit.....I hope you have better success with future orders....blessings Janet

Send them a Billing Statement with payment payable upon receipt and send it where they have to sign for the letter. You will get a card back stating the letter was received. This is common that people will forget you just have to remind them.

Hi Ronny,
I do hope you can get some payment for the work that you have done. Maybe this person has just forgotten about the job with all the Christmas stuff etc. I'd give them a call or write them a nice letter just reminding them of the fact that you haven't been paid for your services. Good luck love Chris

I would just send them the bill. Perhaps they have generally forgotten. Hope you come right. Sarah.
