They are 2 different things. Pes is a file format for a machine, a zip folder is a compressed data file that may have multiple files in it. You need to unzip it to get to the files. I don't know your computer, I have XP and unzipping is built in, I just dbl click on it and it opens. I then can either just copy what I want out of it or there is a windows extract wizard that will come up and I can use that. If your machine does not have that capability(and I don't know why it would not) you can download 7zip, which will unzip files, and also open rar files (which is another compressed file.)

Oh I'm even lazier lol. I also have XP and I right click, explore, then drag the designs (and any txt/pdf file) that I want so that I dont have to extract them all and then delete the ones I dont need which would also extract. Much faster :) xXx
