have about 8" right now... Here are a few pictures. :) I know this is nothing for most of you northerners... hehehe, and I've lived in snow much deeper than this when I lived in Norway, but it's just not the same, when everything is closed down and you have no where to go... LOL...

Love the photos; talked to my daughter in SC and our grandson was itching to go out and make snowballs. He said it's the biggest snow he's seen! Hope your power stays on and that you don't have to drive in it.

Loved your photos and can relate as AR is also covered with the white stuff...love to look at it but hate to be out in it. We have 6 inches of the white stuff and by Wednesday it should be leaving us.

We're snowed in here in Alabama too. Almost everything is closed down today, even where my husband works. He always goes on to work just to see if he can. Sometimes he will pull others out of ditches. He's wanting to get out so bad he can't stand it. The snow is beautiful! We had snow on Christmas day and our Grandchildren loved it.

Beautiful, but so cold! We have the cooling on here, but we're expecting rain as well as warm temps all week. Very humid.

I am one of those northerners. I LOVE a big snowstorm. I guess we are just used to them so it's not that big of a deal. Besides, the snow is so pretty!

Here in Kansas we are getting snow too. Started before midnight last night. Had about 3 inches this morning. Then it quit for a while. I went out and removed most of snow in driveway. Started to snow again so I quit. Suppose to be over by midnight tonight.

Once I get myself plowed and shoveled out I'll like all the snow too. I have 4 feet of the stuff in front of my door. Spent 3 hours out there today and will probably spend the same tomorrow. And lucky me! It's supposed to snow again tonight. I'm a So. Calif. gal way up north in SK Canada now. What did I get myself into?

So sorry to hear about the unusual weather you are having this year - glad we are not in it. Stay warm and I hope you have plenty of food and are prepared in case the power goes out. *4U

A got a text on my cell phone and it was a picture of a snowman that my son and his wife buildt in SC. They were here for Christmas in Arizona when the first snow hit.
The nap part sounds really good! Sweet Dreams!

Went out with the yardstick and measured 17 inches of snow. My DH got our daughter to work but he turned around after a semi truck was jack-knifed and multiply vehicles were in the ditch. There is another snow event happening right now so we will see come daylight if we are snowed in again.
