Ok I am new at the whole embroidery thing...been in it a whole week now. Found out quickly my 1500D leaves me limited to play. So i down loaded some additional designs and well i can't see them on my pc and when they show up in my machine screen i get big black blobs!! When embroidered they come out great but until its on fabric its a mystery ....Uggg. So what software do i nee dto get to view them and is there a way to make my brother comaptable with Vista ?

Know nothing about this particular machine but I'm sure other Cuties have one that may be able to help. I typed in "brother 1500D" in my search engine and there are several different sites that might also be able to help you. Also, how about a local Brother dealer? Good Luck and welcome to the embroidery world to and Cute!

Both of these are free and both will resize designs and also convert from one format to another.

Hi I have a Brother machine the Galaxie 3000 and I have the PE design softwear with it. Pe design is not cheap but I can see all my designs and any I download from the internet free or paid for. I can also use it to digitise my own designs - not that I am any good at this bit of machine embroidery. I do use it a lot to make my own designs with writing, like birthday cards. With the correct softwear it is compatable with Vista. Machine embroidery and anything to do with it is a steep learning curve at the start. Cute is a great place to be as you can ask question after question and people will reply. So welcome to Cute too
