OH NO! That sounds like something I would do! The first time is always for practice anyway!
Good luck with the real one!

LOL-Sarah, you should have told him you did that purposely because he made it such a memorable year that you wanted to keep it in your heart and let everyone know it was such a great year...in embroidery ??? Ok...maybe not ~guess maybe DH will be your proofreading before stitching now. ~linda~

Oh man, don't you hate when that happens....I did a hat for one of Jim's barbershop chorus guys and his name is Sully and I put Sullly on it below the logo and had to do another one and we all know how much I hate doing hats to begin with......gggrrrr!!!
Nice to see you today, Sarah!!!!!!!

Just so funny and so like something I would do, but look at it this way.....your floor will now be treated with 'high fashion' with a newly made embroidery towel.....

Thank you all for your comments. I will have to do another one as it was for an elderly lady's special birthday and it was her year of birth. Oh well - practice makes perfect!!!

You use it - or keep it as a sample of your lovely work - to show another - so they can see just what you do - for birthdays!

Oh how I feel for you. I am never able to proof read my own work. I think my brain says 'You did it so it must be right' or it only sees what I was trying to do and not what I actually did!!!!

IT HAPPENS TO ALL OF US AND WHEN THAT HAPPENS YOU JUST WANT TO SCREAM SO LOUD AND THEN A LITTLE LATER SAY, 'OH ITS OK, I'LL MAKE ANOTHER ONE' I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!
