I keep all sizes of scraps of felt. Except possibly the tinyest. Sometimes I embroider on felt and sometimes I do other handsewn crafts with them. I also teach little ones in Sunday School and they do felt crafts with glue.

I never get rid of anything.... I see value and art in everything. It's enough to drive me crazy LOL

Iva, I Keep all the scraps. Use them when I do applique. I keep it colour coded in plastic bags in a draw. Hugs Yvonne

Felt scraps are great to use for embellishing. Needle felting is fun to do with scraps too. I save all the little pieces. (Pack rat)

Oh, man, Iva.....I wish I could part with any of my scraps of fabric....I have a mesh laundry bag bulging with scraps and I don't even know what is in it as it is too heavy for me to move to look in it......now how crazy is that......in fact my cats will curl up in it occassional....LOL
By the way, I leave the scraps as is so I can snip from them what I need........

Small piece work very well for small projects, especcially for the backs of in the hoop projects.

I keep everything...lol which is pretty handy now Ive become addicted to applique!

I, too, am VERY stingy with my scraps. VERY little goes in my trashcan...especially felt! :)

I keep them even though I have no idea what I will ever do with them! I have plenty of left over felt scrap from Christmas projects!

I do keep all sizes of scrap both felt and cotton. Never know when I need them as tiny eyes or noses. hehehe.

Think you'll find that most of us keep our scraps regardless of the size with the intentions of using them some day. Hugs, Karen

Being a quilter I have many scraps as well, but some just are not worth keeping like the very skinny cut offs that are less than 1/4 inch or less than an inch square. So I keep a bag and fill it with all the scraps then give to a friend who makes animal pillows using the scraps for stuffing. She then donates these to the local animal shelter. Nothing wasted. Maybe I should stop this collecting everything! But From experience the moment I throw something away The next week I will yhink I could have used it now.!

I have so much fun with the scraps, I have a hard time parting with any of them! I keep felt scraps in those plastic Sterilite containers. I can stack them and they look interesting and fun that way! Teachers and Quilters are the worst horders. You never know, you may need that someday...
