My addiction is really bad. I sew all day at work and then come home and sew. Sometimes I feel like I sew in my sleep. But I would have to say I love it. DeVon

When do you slow down to smell the roses?
by joann13100 17 Jan 2011
I'm getting worn out just reading how much everyone else gets done.

I also like to plant flowers. Love the roses too. DeVon

My mind is always thinking about sewing or embroidering, during the day, wake up at night, try and go back to sleep and if I do, then I wake up early and think some more. Is that an addiction?

As many as you have time or energy to do----at this point, if I get anything done, I'm happy. Too many chores, responsibilities, and obligations.

A lot of them are my favorites:
I have always made my own clothes (including lingere and swim wear){my own wedding gown too}
I sewed for my 5 children (they wanted me to make shoes because it was the only item that we had to buy for them besides their school uniforms)When they began to work they started to buy there own clothes. The boys still like their underpants that I make from the Bernina pattern.
Quilts, Hand embroidery ,Freehand machine embroidery.(Now I have my embroidery machine).
Cushions and table linen,fittted sheets and pillow cases, curtains ,tote bags.Baby items like night dresses and bibs.
I crochet and also hand and machine knit.(I have enough yarn to fill a barn.
I am new to digitizing and enjoy that too.

How long is a piece of string?
I do not even keep it to embroidery, sewing but all kind of arty things.
The only restriction I have is TIME!
