Well, Cuties...I took the challenge again! Today, my project was a purse. Last night, I stitched out the center portion, using a upholstery weight, textured fabric. As I was putting it together today, I choose another upholstery fabric of the same weight to frame the center design. For the trim, back pocket and purse lining, I used a vintage floral print that I have had in my stash - either from Goodwill or Ebay, can't remember. I just LOVE this floral print! I have made a couple purses using this design before...I do not use a pattern, just cut/sew/cut & sew until it is done. I was quite happy with the results - a very sturdy hipster-type bag that I will probably save for next fall. Yes, it will be MINE! :) I had fun with the Sunflower Challenge....but with a very long work week ahead of me, I have to call it quits! I ended up with two great projects that I never would have made - and had tons of fun, too! Let's do it again...ok?
