I still can't get on DBS this morning! Has anyone been able to get on yet? I'll just wait awhile and try again. Everyone have a GREAT day!

I had a little trouble with the hourly free design, but I was able to get everything else.

When I try to get on it says parse error, whatever that is! I can't get on at all to get anything.

I can't get on at all right now. What is a parse error? I guess it takes awhile to get all the kinks out.

There's a msg on the right hand side of the page that says the forums are offline due to an upgrade so standby.
I guess this means that as you have to be logged in to vote for designs, you wont be able to vote until the upgrade is finished which I'm sure wont take long :) xXx

Check your email's spam folder, I believe there was a msg on the home page of DBS about some ISP's are blocking DBS's emails to customers. The msg isnt there now tho, I just checked. xXx

I thought it was just my connection, but I see it wasn't now. Maybe youcan help answer a question I had for DBS about thread breakage. I don't know what my problem is with the thread that I'm using (DBS, it keeps breaking and shredding, tried using C&C everything was fine, switched back and it started all over. Oh, I changed needles just in case it may have been that.

You could try using a top stitch needle (which has a longer eye than an embroidery needle - I only ever use top stitch needles in my embroidery machine) and/or putting the spool on a thread stand (or in a coffee cup) behind your machine so that the thread can has a chance to untwist before it is threaded thru the machine. While I havent tried DBS's thread, this has worked for me. I use the thread stand behind my machine.
Having said this tho, some machines just dont like certain threads. Even ppl with identical machines can have one person with problems and the other with no problems with a particular thread.
I hope you find a solution :) xXx

urgh.. forgot to proof read lol omit the word "can" and the sentence will make sense lol. It should read: ..so that the thread has a chance..
