I liked doing the sunflower so much I used it to make a gift set. I had purchased some placemats on sale a while back and decided to use them. I tore one of them apart to make 2 different type of hot pads and a mug rug. I did another towel with Good Mornin' on it similar to my first one. I was pleased with the end result and wanted to share it with you. Thanks for getting me started on applique. Without this challenge I probably would not have tried it, at least not yet!

Nice job! You all make me want to join in this challenge! I havn't sewn a stitch since before Christmas. I've been busy with other things and keeping my 2 Grandsons, can't sew with them around! I'm beginning to have withdrawals!
